About Fiona Strickland:

A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Fiona first exhibited her botanical paintings in 2008. With work in the collections of Dr. Shirley Sherwood, the R.H.S Lindley Library, and the Hunt Institute, she has established herself as an internationally renowned botanical artist. Her response to the visual elements is captured in her very personal approach to botanical painting in which she endeavours to challenge and inspire, engaging the viewer in the appreciation of the beauty of a plant whether viewed from an unusual angle, its character is captured in an unexpected way, or when less than perfect.
